At Rapid Access Pediatrics, we make quality pediatric care fast, accessible, and stress-free for families across Ontario. Whether your child needs general pediatric care, acute care, or breastfeeding support, our experienced team is ready to help—in person or online.
We offer virtual consultations so you can connect with a pediatrician from the comfort of your home. For those needing an in-person visit, our Hamilton clinic and expanding locations across Ontario ensure quick and reliable care when you need it most.
Policies
- A valid health card must be presented at each visit.
- Without a valid health card, you may be required to pay for services.
- Follow-up appointments will not be booked without a valid health card.
- A 24-hour notice is required for any appointment cancellation.
- Failure to provide proper notice will result in a $60 cancellation fee.
- Our office communicates primarily via text messaging and email.
- Appointment reminders are sent through text and email.
- A confirmation response via text is required to secure your appointment.
- Unconfirmed appointments will be rescheduled.
- Please do not include personal or medical information in emails.
- Our office does not use regular mail (Canada Post, UPS, Purolator).
- Have your pharmacy send us a prescription renewal form for refills.
- Processing time is 2-3 business days.
- Do not request prescription refills on Fridays.
- Please call our office to obtain your lab results or investigation updates.
- Virtual care allows patients to receive medical services through phone, video, mobile apps, and text-based messaging.
- While virtual care is secure and efficient, it has certain limitations.
- Based on the doctor’s assessment, you may be advised to schedule an in-person visit if necessary.
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM*

- All non-OHIP covered services are charged a flat rate of $75.
